During the third Programme Cycle Planning session of the day, Pioneer Facilitator Hana’ put her words into practice. She began the session by emphasising the importance of interactive learning: she argued that lecturing at your audience will often result in boredom, and that the best approaches to learning are ones in which the audience is an active contributor. After a short presentation Hana’ asked the Delegates to work in groups (to develop a Learning Needs Assessment checklist) after which they were expected to present their findings – if that’s not interactive learning, what is?
